Custom Masks

If you have to wear masks on your big day you might as well make them stylish! Get ones just for yourself and your partner, for the bridal party or for all of your guests with the date on so they can keep it as a momentum!

Hand Sanitizer Favors

Make it easy for your guests to sanitize with custom favors like these ones from Heaven Sent Sanitizer below. You could also have some hand sanitizing stations set up around your venue too to make it easier for guests to keep safe.

Comfort bands

If some of your guests are more comfortable than others being in a social setting then why not give each one a band to communicate what level of socialising they’re happy with!

Live Stream the Ceremony

Just because some guests can’t make it because of number limitations, if they’re shielding or because of travel restrictions, it doesn’t mean they have to miss the whole thing; why not live stream your wedding via an app like Zoom or Facebook Live. You don’t even need a fancy camera like the below, a smartphone and a willing volunteer to hold it will be enough to make those who aren’t there feel involved.

Camera

…and/or commemorate those that can’t be there

But if you don’t want to live stream, or if you feel like that isn’t enough to include the guests that can’t be there, then why not involve them with a sign or a reserved seat just for them!

Additional Seating Areas

Make it easy for your guests to social distance by adding additional seating areas to your venue if you have the option. This is also perfect for any guests who may be anxious and want to just have some time away from others when they feel like they need it.

Forget the buffet

Although a buffet is an easy choice for a reception dinner, it’s no longer the safest option when it comes to keeping guests at a safe distance and making sure everything is sanitary. But if you don’t want to splash out on table service, look into hiring a food van that is happy to mark out a socially distanced queue for you.

Fun postponement announcement

And if you think it’s best to postpone until a later date instead then there are plenty of fun ways you can announce a change of date! Also, why not plan something fun for the day you were supposed to say ‘I do’ to help ward off the sadness when the day rolls around.
