Obviously if you and your other half have a favourite love quote between you, or something you always say to each other, then that is the perfect thing to use to make stationery and signs for your big day, and it will make them that little bit more personal.

Use them on your table plan, as part of your centerpieces, print them on boxes or bags to give favors away in, as a quote on your invitations or save the dates, on your guest book, or just print and frame your favorites and then you can take them home after the big day and hang them on your wall forever.

If you both love adventures and/or have been on lots of vacations together, or if you’re having a destination wedding or a travel theme for your big day then these quotes would be perfect for you! I love the idea of incorporating it on a train ticket like oflifeandlemons has done below, or adding some cute little pictures in there if you love to camp or hike.

FILM & TV

Films and TV are some of the best places to find heartfelt love quotes, and these ones below are some of our favourites, ranging from the classic Friends line ‘He’s her Lobster’ to Harry Potter’s very romantic ‘After all this time? Always’.

If none of the below work, maybe pick a few films or tv shows that you both love and google their most famous quotes to see if anything relevant comes up.

Throughout history there have been some amazing love songs, and whether you love Rock, Soul, Country or Pop, I’m sure you will be able to find a song that resonates for you and your other half.

Literature/POEMS

Classic quotes from your favourite author, your most cherished book or a poet that you both love make perfect quotes to use on your big day! And it doesn’t have to be from really old or classic (or serious) books as that quote from Dr Seuss proves.

Again, maybe find a few books that both you and your Bride or Groom to be love and see if any quotes come up in particular that would work on a wedding sign.

Funny

And following on from the Dr Seuss quote, there’s no need to take your wedding seriously, it’s a day to be cherished and enjoyed after all and even better if you can make it fun and memorable with some hilarious quotes.

I love all of the below, but the one that made me laugh the most is definitely the thought that marriage is just an endless sleepover with your favorite weirdo, how true is that!
