If you want to treat your bridesmaids to a gift box, surprise your hens with some personalised glasses, give tumblers for wedding favours, give a custom Christmas gift or give a bride and groom a special glass to toast their big day then vinyl glass decals can do all of that!
This is a bit of a fiddly process so you may want to check out a few videos online as well as my instructions to make sure you know the best way to apply vinyls to your style of glass.

WHAT YOU NEED:
A Vinyl Glass Decal (Try Etsy or make your own using a Cricut machine) - I used Ritrama Permanent Vinyl
Transfer tape/paper (Comes in rolls on Amazon but LLL include it with all of their designs)
Clean, smooth glass
STEP ONE:
Unless it has already been weeded, get rid of the outside of your letters as well as the middle bits so you're left with only what you want to stick on the glass.
STEP TWO:
Now you need to apply your transfer tape. Peel the back off and place on top of your letters, getting it as straight as possible, making sure you cover the wording completely.
STEP THREE:
Using a store card, or vinyl applicator if you have one, press down the letters so that the transfer tape is fully stuck down and there are no air bubbles or bumps. Now peel the white backing off the vinyl so that you're just left with the letters and the transfer tape.
STEP FOUR:
Now for the trickiest part - applying the vinyl to your glass... you may want to look at a few different videos for tips beforehand, especially if you have an usual shaped glass.
I applied the letters from left to right because of the curve in the glass on the right side, but you may find it easier to press the middle down first and then push from the middle outwards. Just take it really slowly, making sure each bit is flat on the glass without any bumps before pushing it down fully as you go. Once it is all stuck down, use your store card/applicator again to get rid of any last bubbles or bumps.
Once you're happy that it is stuck down fully, peel the transfer tape off carefully. Take it slowly again so that any letters lifting up can be pushed back down.
And there it is, ready to be given to that special person - or if you're like me, as a treat to yourself!
**Once these are applied to glasses they will be hand wash only and not dishwasher safe! Ideally leave for 72 hours before washing**
Or if you want to make your own vinyl decals for unlimited wedding gifts and decorations, then get yourself a Cricut machine or a Silhouette Cameo! There are 1000 different things you can do with them, and they will help you make Christmas gifts, Birthday gifts, party decorations and plenty of other crafty things for years to come. Take a look at the Cricut website for more info.
