1. Make Vinyl Decals and Sell Them!

I’m a bit biased because this is what I did after my wedding - but this is the best way to make money with your Cricut in my opinion.

The year of my wedding I also decided to leave my job (worst timing ever, I know!) but didn’t really have a plan of what to do. At the same time, I started learning calligraphy and hand lettering and bought a Cricut to help me make signs and decor for my own wedding. I soon realised how much I loved it and decided to open an Etsy store to sell my products. It took A LOT of trial and error and I made plenty of mistakes along the way, but I started making a full-time income after about 6 months and have been living my best life making decals ever since.

2. Holiday decorations

Make your own gift boxes and bags, baubles, window stickers, party items… all customised to you and your family and how you like to celebrate!

3. New baby items

What do you get for the baby that has everything?! Something with their name on! A onesie is easy to make with iron-on vinyl like this one below from FandangoUK but the opportunities are endless - make nursery decor, birth announcement signs, cut out sewing patterns for toys and accessories, customise a toy box. So many ideas!!

4. Home Decor

Wall decals are an amazing way to decorate rooms, but you can also use vinyl to jazz up old furniture or make stencils for painting, make wooden signs, cushion covers, monogram everything you can touch, add a bit of colour to old diningware… anything in sight, you can probably make it your own using your Cricut!

5. Make your own photo album!

If you’re not quite over the wedding DIY yet and want to stretch it out a bit longer then why not make your own wedding album… not only can you make a gorgeous front cover for an existing album, but you could make cute little stickers for the inside too and really customise it to suit you and your other half.

6. Clothing

You can start as simple as using iron-on vinyl to personalise t-shirts, or if you have a cricut maker then you can cut out fabric and create your own clothing and accessories completely from scratch.
